Countrywise Kitchen ITV
7.30 Tuesday
It's from my neck of the woods right now.
They've just barbecued some wonderful fish on Hastings Beach.
Brill and Bass - looks delicious and then some

OOh - sorry Frillz! I missed it - but might catch it again as they are sometimes repeated. I have the telly on in the kitchen while I faff around cooking, so I see all sorts of things at odd times!

It was a very good programme wasn't it? I lived in and around Hastings for many years and know that part of the beach and the fishing huts very well having bought vast amounts of fish off them over the years - still do when I pop down that way for a weekend. Can't beat it for freshness.
Even liked the look of that butterflied and barbecued Lamb - and that's from a lamb hater! I'd be willing to try it cooked that way.

I thoroughly enjoyed the programme, although there's an element of local interest which might not appeal to all.
The beach and those fishermens' huts are a really attractive sight aren't they Mrs WW and yes, the lamb looked delicious.
I like those half hour programmes with a regional flavour (no pun intended ) perfect for a quick breather with a glass of wine, although I admit, we eat in the kitchen, have a TV on and I too am often faffing around a bit doing this and that rather than sat as a dedicated viewer.

Greetings Mark, I'd never have imagined a programme like this being shown in the States, so you learn something every day.
Paul's still a presenter but there was more of Mike who's a chef

More about Mike here

Re: Countrywise Kitchen ITV
hey fritz
no, sadly it is not shown here in the states
i am one of those nasty, evil, vile (some would have you think that) folks who do file sharing as there is a lot of stuff that will never see the light of day here in in the states......
opens up shows like this to whole new market and generates more interest.......
cheers!!!!
