I have loved the last two series - hope it's another good one and hasn't been done to death.

If you can resist spottymint, paul hollywood's book was discounted heavily within a few weeks of his series finishing.

I don't do full price books. Unless abroad & need souvenirs.

I just bought Jamie's 30 min meals from the charity shop for £2.99, was looking for that cheap, but not on offer anywhere.

The works can be good, but our local one is tiny & the cooking section has just shrunk.

@ spottymint: Have you tried ordering the book through the library? You can do it online. Libraries do apparently get just-published books within a few days of release, contrary to what I used to think being that it'd be a couple of years later but that ain't so any more.

Most home printers have flatbed scanners so you could scan pages for free onto your computer, then copy them to a small memory stick (flash drive) and plug that into a tablet or laptop for portability if wished.

I hope your works have left more than a microwave for cooking...

We saw this in Asda last night, and this is what the Beeb are advertising after the programme as well. If you look at the blurb on the link (providing it works!) it also includes some of the recipes from the current series.

We enjoyed this last night, although there were a few car-crash/Casualty moments. I did end up hitting myself over the head with a cushion in exasperation at one point. Not surprised at either of the results though.

Enjoyed this last night, especially the Showstopper round.I loved the squirrel cake and also the polar bear one. Did feel sorry for the guy that went out,as he seemed really nice, though resigned to his fate.
Never known such an accident prone lot though before.

I had to check it wasn't "24 hours in A & E".

That first aider was on overtime, bet the shares in Elastoplast have gone up.

Quite a bad, but very funny review of it in the Times yesterday by Hugo Rifkind. He just didn't "get it". Think he was just jealous of Squirrel Nutkins
