Chopped - Food Network cooking competition
Essentially four chefs have to make three courses using mandatory ingredients at each stage. A recent programme had four UK chefs but still using US produce of course, typically weird and wonderful combos:
- Tristan Welch,
head chef at Launceston Place, London (at the time the programme was made).
- Lottie Duncan,
owns cookery school and a TV presenter.
- Andy Bates,
famous for pies sold as street food and also for international TV travel/food progs.
- Jun Tanaka,
at the time he was exec chef at the Pearl (before his Street Kitchen days).
So what do you think would be the order of elimination? Have a little think, then mouse-over (select) answer below.
Answer:
1st eliminated: Tristan Welch
2nd: Andy Bates
3rd: Lottie Duncan
Winner: Jun Tanaka
