Grease marks on clothes
Hi all,
I have managed to get a couple of grease marks on a favourite silk dress on holiday.
I soaked the dress whilst away and tried using Greek olive oil soap on the marks which someone recommended but it has made no difference.
I've also washed it on a 40 degree wash since being home but that hasn't helped either.
Does anyone have any other suggestions please?! Any of those stain remover brands which have worked for you?
Thank you!

Re: Grease marks on clothes
Stain Devils usually work fine
Put the stain & the fabric into the on-line thingummy & it tells you which stain devil to buy

Alternativerly, rubbing glycerine into a grease stain before washing sometimes works but if you'd need to buy it specially I'd go straigh to the stain devil

What a handy site, that's been bookmarked straight away.
Thanks Sue, I will buy the one they've suggested.

OH says thanks too as it got a mark out of one of his white shirts that was otherwise destined for the bin.

it's always good to know that applying a little chemistry does the job!
