My first thought is wild arum aka cuckoo pint aka jack in the pulpit/jack by the hedge but I can't see if yours has the distinctive stem?

I've seen those myself and have a photo similar to your first one. But I couldn't see a stem of that kind on my recent photo. Which is why I thought it wasn't the same thing.

It's been given an ID of possibly being a 'stinking iris'.
