Hello folks
Hello everyone. This is my first post and really just to say hello. I had been lurking on the BBC boards for a long time and picked up some great tips. Thank you Sakkarin for creating this board.
I must admit, I haven't got anything to say right now, but decided that if I posted at least an 'introduction' then it will be easier. (It's ironic that the BBC closing made me take the plunge!)
I am just finding my way around, but actually am finding it very user friendly. Hope to make more of a contribution soon!

Re: Hello folks
Nice to meet you, Caz, I'm sure that now you have taken the plunge you will find it easier to join in. There are some great people on here
I hope this board will get to be like the Beeb board in its heyday, I have noticed some people on here who haven't posted for a while on the Beeb (including myself) so I have high hopes for the future.
Great job, Sakkarin

Re: Hello folks
Thank you, am just having a sneaky look from work!
Gill I am really lucky living here (aside from the rugny!) as we have a weekly farmers market, a fab fish shop and Lavertoke Park Farm have recently opened a shop literally at the end of the road. Their stuff is to die for so am having fun with their buffalo for instance. http://www.laverstokepark.co.uk/
I am not 'instinctively' imaginative with recipes, so am always on the lookout for ideas, though my current 'fave' thing is smoked paprika so I'm enjoying experimenting with that. We had pancakes stuffed with a filling of haddock (from the fish shop), boiled egg, chives and a cheese sauce and the addition of a sprinkle of the paprika with the cheese on top before it was baked worked really well.
Anyway, thanks again, hope to be more pro-active now! Caz xxx
