Yes, we are not religious but have a high regard for our local traditions as well.

We also prepare the " La Viglia de La Navidad / 7 Pescados " ( 7 fish dishes ) for the 24th, Christmas Eve .. We do not eat meat of any type on Christmas Eve .. It is highly practiced in Italy as well ..

We had begun decorating our office on the 3rd this year, as we are now in Madrid on National Holidays ..

Santa Barbara is the Saint of Alicante and she is paid homage there at her Castle in the Centre of the City ..

Joan, your house is local history.

Food, decision made.
We shall have the chateaubriand for our main. With freetes.
And a tarte au citron.

So I shall scour my books for the tart recipe that will be just right.
I have a french one that is usually spot on.
