@Renée,

Speedy recovery wishes dear ..

I have just recovered from a terribly bad cold flu which I caught from 2 colleagues !

These flus or viruses are so contagious ..

Take care and all my best .. :crossed

Thank you, Alexandria. :newhuggy I'm feeling much better this morning. It must have been one of those 24 hour viruses. I do hope that you are recovering well, too. I always think that it's better to have these illnesses now, rather than at Christmas!

I'm all set to make the soup today and will take a photo.

Alexandria, I spent such a happy time this morning preparing all the ingredients and making the soup which was very delicious! I did scale down quite a lot from the original recipe and I have plenty left over for tonight!

I used cod, Alexandria. I had to shop at the supermarket, rather than the fish stall on the market, because I wasn't feeling well yesterday, but it worked well. I've just had the last of it tonight, adding a little water and drizzling with more olive oil. I made a few croûtons to put on top. I feel sad that it's all finished! :(

@ Renée,

Yes, I have made it with fresh cod too .. when I was unable to buy fresh white tuna ..

Next time you could prepare extra for lunch the next day or freeze it ..

Have a lovely evening and all my best wishes ..

Chilly here ( 5 Degrees Centig .. )

I just put the heat on ..

Thanks again ..
