Being here in the states, I have used and am fond of hot dog mustard mustard. Goes well in potato salad with helmans mayo. Or on a classic burger with ketchup and lettuce and tomato and dill pickle chips. And a slice a cheese.

I have tried Coleman's but there is more umph than I care for. I thought at one time there were two versions of Coleman's. One for domestic consumption. And another for markets outside the UK.

When I worked at the store, when chef made egg salad, he would use hot dog mustard. That eventually changed to whole grain. Growing up mum made egg salad and deviled eggs. Eggs, helmans mayo, French's mustard and just a touch of apple cider vinegar. Paprika on top to decorate.

He also made it with Nancy's sharp and creamy mustard

"Royal Recipes", on NOW on BBC1, features Dipna Anand who I mentioned earlier, and it looks remarkably like the dish she is rustling up might be her achari chicken tikka. I'll add an "EDIT" to say what it actually was!

EDIT: Ignore this, it was a salmon dish, and I found the programme so irritating I switched off after Dipna's section.

Has anyone noticed that the OP has not posted again? Do you sometimes feel you are being used, and without thanks

@ Joan Bunting,

This gentleman is doing a research project and has posted the same post on several U.K. & Usa Food Forums.

He is in the planning stages to launch a Mustard Retail / Wholesale business of his own ..

He sent a survey link as well ..

Have a nice day ..

Yes, but as this is a social board it would be polite to return and maintain contact

Other people researching new businesses have done so in the past

He has not bothered to contact us again, and I agree with Joan that's rather rude

The survey that he posted a link to was, I think, intended for existing businesses, not individual users.
