You could always make your own substitute!

From advice for a recipe on Delia's website:-

For anyone who can't obtain the Glucose Syrup for the dessert use:-

5 TBSP of water
+ 5 TBSP of Caster Sugar

Microwave on medium until the sugar dissolves allow to cool slightly then use as Glucose Syrup, the results are just the same and will keep in a small bottle if you don't use it all. But to be honest it is so simple there is really no need to keep it, just make fresh each time you need it.

OR If you can get golden syrup use it in place of liquid glucose a - it tastes much better!!

I made it for the holidays for several years. When mum was alive she got her choppers around it and liked it alot. I figured if she was eating it, I would make it. That also includes sohpie grigson's brussel sprout gratin....

Yes, I've seen it in the supermarkets over here, Mark. I'm glad that you were able to get it.

Mark,

This chocolate truff dessert of Delia´s is gorgeous ..

I have seen the recipe and the indication of the liquid glucose ..

I shall check out the El Corte Inglés Baking Dept .. The brand is well known here for their pizzas and baking goods.

Thank you.

Glad you found some Mark.

Alexandra, I can get it at the pharmacy. Perhaps it will be the same in Spain?
