The best way to store biscuits?
We have acquired several bags of good quality biscuits - stem ginger, white chocolate chip, etc.
How do we store them - freezer, vacuum pack, airtight tins?

I'm afraid I haven't found a way to store biccies, they go too fast...
Probably in a safe which I haven't got the combination of if they are to last more than a couple of days.

Sakkarin, even you would not be able to scoff the humungous amount of biscuits we have acquired.
We drove past a biscuit factory where they have now opened a factory shop to the public (previously only the employees could buy discount biscuits) and I went a bit mad with the offers (£1 a bag for loose biscuits which would fill about 10 packets).
I bought 6 bags, so approx. 60 packets of biscuits.

When dad was alive he had access to gallon glass jars and lids and they made great cookie jars. If the cookies got hard, tho between the bro and I, it was, rare, mum would put a piece or two of white to soften them up. They also worked great for sun tea.

Re: The best way to store biscuits?
We have a German oblong glass container.
The hard lid has a plastic/silycon stopper in the middle, and you turn and press it, to release the pressure. It creates a seal for zee biscuits or crackers.
Works well.
Another tip is:
Microwave the cookies or biscuits for 5-10 seconds. And let them cool on a rack whilst your tea is mashing
They go hard and crunchy again.

Excellent tip there, gill.
Some of the biscuits are chocolate coated, so that won't work for them, but OH has a plan to vacuum pack these.
He likes his gadgets, and has had endless fun vac packing pumpkin seeds and hops, so choccie biccies are another item for his attention.

Yes, it'll get messy microwaving those choco bics.
That's one gadget I don't have.
A vacuum pack.
