Want to share fantastic news

Not sure where this fits, but wanted to share my excitement at the news that my husband Pete's (fledgling) blog WON the Best Wine & Beer Blog category in the prestigious Saveur magazine blog awards 2012!
Am soooo proud! He only launched the blog in October, after writing guest posts for my blog for a while before that!

Oh well done Pete! I'm very happy for you both.
As a founder member (well maybe one of the first associated boozers
) of CAMRA back in the 70s, I'm always delighted to see people writing about beer. A thoroughly disparaged beverage, defiled by wine snobs, but one of the greatest drinks in the world.

Congratulations Kavey, I wondered whether rather than being tucked away in Beverages, this thread should be stickied at the top of the main Food Chat board for a while to celebrate the Kavey family achievement! Now I know why your avatar looks so cheerful.
There is a sort of Chatterbox here, but noone seems to be using it, it's on the top level when you click "Board Index".

Oh, I hadn't realised there was a top level, just hadn't registered in my consciousness!
